The scope of the symposium is to bring together mathematicians and engineers which work on the broad field of numerical methods for PDEs with applications especially in fluid mechanics.
The topics of interest include but are not necessarily restricted to:
- Numerical modelling in fluid mechanics.
- Adaptive mesh generation.
- High performance computing.
- Teaching experiences with freefem.
The symposium will also celebrate the 60th birthday of Prof. Frédéric Hecht.
