{"id":360,"date":"2022-03-01T17:25:12","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T17:25:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.edanya.uma.es\/hyp2022\/?page_id=360"},"modified":"2022-07-12T12:52:14","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T12:52:14","slug":"news","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"news\/","title":{"rendered":"News"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Springer Awards to the best PhD student contributed talks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The Springer Awards to the best presentations by PhD students in the three fields of the Conference have been granted to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Theoretical aspects: <\/strong>William Golding (University of Texas at Austin, USA).<\/li><li><strong>Numerical aspects: <\/strong>Alessia del Grosso (Universit\u00e9 de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France).<\/li><li><strong>Applications: <\/strong>Kathrin Hellmuth (University of W\u00fcrzburg, Germany).<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The awardees received a certificate and a book voucher that were presented to them by Dr. Francesca Bonadei, Executive Editor of Springer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online attendance<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the Committee decided to organize HYP2022 as an in-person conference in the hope that everyone could travel to M\u00e1laga in June 2022, the current situation seems to indicate that there will still be mobility restrictions by then in some countries. Therefore, in order to give to everyone the possibility of participating in some of the activities of the Conference and presenting their recent results, the Organizing Committee has decided to set an online attendance in Hyp2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Virtual participation will allow those registered:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>to attend the distinguished, plenary, and invited conferences;<\/li><li>to present and to have access to e-posters: posters in pdf format will be accessible to participants during the Conference and virtual poster sessions will be organized during which authors can interact with other participants interested in their work.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submission of e-poster abstracts can be done through the web page of the Conference before March 15: see the guidelines <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edanya.uma.es\/hyp2022\/abstract-submission\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration for the virtual participation will be done as well through the web page: the fee is 100 \u20ac.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Updated program<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The updated scientific program can be found at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edanya.uma.es\/hyp2022\/program\/\">Program Menu<\/a>. There you will find the program at a glance, a detailed program, and a browser to look for particular sessions, authors, etc. The location of every room can be found at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edanya.uma.es\/hyp2022\/venue\/\">Venue Menu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Poster sessions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Remember that the recommended poster size is A0 (0.84 x 1.19 m) with vertical orientation. e-posters have to be sent in pdf format to the e-mail address hyp2022@viajeseci.es before June 15, so that they can be included in a virtual room on the conference website. Authors of physical posters should send their poster in pdf format to the same address with the same deadline so that their posters will be accessible for online participants as well.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Springer Awards to the best PhD student contributed talks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be 3 awards to the best presentations by PhD students in the three fields of the Conference: Theory, Numerics and Applications. The awardees will receive a certificate and a a set of books to be selected by them from Springers catalogue.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome Cocktail<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It will take place on Sunday 19 from 20:00 hours at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/75TQ3uxgJRoqJcic7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Gutierrez Puerto Restaurant<\/a>, located at Pier 2 of the Port of Malaga (next to the main entrance of the port).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Gala Dinner<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>It will take place on Wednesday from 20:00 hours at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/goo.gl\/maps\/nnAZSU92RZxzNFpe8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">El Balneario-Ba\u00f1os del Carmen Restaurant<\/a>, located at Calle Bolivia, 26.
